Industry Relations Manager

Job Summary:


The Industry Relations Manager is a key representative of the MCAA, responsible for fostering and maintaining relationships with member companies, industry stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. This role requires a proactive individual who can lead initiatives that align with the association’s mission to promote ethical practices and advance the alternative finance industry.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture relationships with current and potential MCAA members.

  • Organize and lead roundtables, conferences, and networking events to facilitate collaboration across the MCA industry.

  • Advocate for MCAA’s vision by promoting industry best practices and ethical standards.

  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and educate members about changes in laws affecting MCA businesses.

  • Work with internal teams to identify and address key challenges facing the industry.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or a similar role in finance or alternative lending.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and work with diverse stakeholders.

  • Passion for improving the MCA industry and promoting ethical practices.

Content & Communications Specialist

Job Summary:


The Content & Communications Specialist will lead the development of impactful content that highlights MCAA’s initiatives, educates stakeholders, and promotes transparency in the MCA industry. This individual will shape the association’s public voice through articles, white papers, newsletters, and social media.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Write and publish high-quality content, including industry insights, case studies, and educational materials.

  • Manage and update the MCAA newsroom with relevant news, regulatory updates, and member achievements.

  • Develop and execute communication strategies to increase MCAA’s visibility across digital and traditional media platforms.

  • Work closely with the design team to produce visually appealing content, including infographics and videos.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging aligns with the MCAA’s mission and goals.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in content creation or communications, preferably within the finance or MCA industry.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.

  • Knowledge of the MCA industry or alternative finance is a strong plus.

Event & Membership Coordinator

Job Summary:


The Events & Membership Coordinator will design and manage immersive events that engage MCAA members and strengthen the association’s community. This individual will also oversee membership programs to ensure members receive value from their participation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute high-profile networking events at exclusive venues, including Miami Art Basel and Manhattan galas.

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain MCAA members.

  • Manage membership records, benefits, and communications.

  • Collaborate with event partners, sponsors, and vendors to create unique, engaging experiences.

  • Collect feedback from members and attendees to continuously improve event and membership offerings.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field.

  • 4+ years of experience in event planning or membership coordination, preferably in finance or nonprofit organizations.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

  • Familiarity with the MCA industry and high-end event management is a plus.

Regulatory & Compliance Analyst

Job Summary:


The Regulatory & Compliance Analyst will monitor, analyze, and interpret regulatory developments impacting the MCA industry. This role involves providing guidance to MCAA members, advocating for fair practices, and promoting self-regulation within the industry.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze laws, regulations, and policies affecting the MCA industry.

  • Draft and update self-regulation guidelines in collaboration with MCAA members.

  • Provide training and resources to members on compliance best practices.

  • Develop reports and insights on regulatory trends and their potential impact on the industry.

  • Advocate for fair and ethical practices in collaboration with legal and industry experts.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in compliance are a plus.

  • 3+ years of experience in regulatory analysis, compliance, or legal advisory roles, preferably in finance.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • A deep understanding of the MCA industry and its regulatory landscape.
